The 2018 Iowa Wage Survey and the 2017 Occupational Employment Statistics Wages have been released.
The 2018 Iowa Wage Survey and the 2017 Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) Wages have been released. The Iowa Wage Survey data uses OES occupational wages and updates them to make wages more current for the State, MSA and balance of state areas. This update applies only to wage data and not to employment estimates. Occupational wage and employment information is also provided for the Iowa Workforce Development Regions.

Iowa's Unemployment Rate Drops to 18-Year Low
Iowa’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped to 2.6 percent in July. The state’s jobless rate was 3.1 percent one year ago. The U.S. unemployment rate decreased to 3.9 percent in July.
First Quarter 2018 Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages Released
The first quarter 2018 Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) data has been released. This data is a census of jobs covered by unemployment insurance and is available for Iowa and the 99 counties by sector and subsector. The available data now covers the first quarter of 2011 through the first quarter of 2018.

Iowa's Unemployment Rate Remains at 2.7 Percent
Iowa’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remains at 2.7 percent in June. The state’s jobless rate was 3.2 percent one year ago. The U.S. unemployment rate increased to 4.0 percent in June.
